CyberLink PowerVCR II is a Windows software that allows you to record video output from various types of media devices. There are instruments for playing and editing captured clips as well. It is worth mentioning that CyberLink PowerVCR II is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
How it works
With the help of this program users can turn the PC into a digital video center. The TV section displays a live preview of the input source. It is possible to change the channel and adjust the volume.
You are able to trim captured clips and remove unnecessary parts before exporting the results. Moreover, there are instruments for tuning the brightness, contrast and color saturation parameters to improve overall image quality.
The list of captured videos with thumbnails is located in the Library section. Like in Televzr, users can play, rename or delete individual items.
Scheduling
An option to plan future recordings is included. You are able to specify the date, time and channel. Additionally, there are flexible video and audio quality settings. The target directory is customizable as well. Supported output file formats include MPEG 1 and MPEG 2.
