DWG FastView is a Windows application that contains instruments for working with CAD images and 3D models. Users can upload projects to the cloud storage server and share files with other people. Please note that the free version of DWG FastView has limited capabilities.
Viewing tools
You are able to open CAD drawings in the DWG, DXF and DWF formats. It is possible to choose between the windowed and fullscreen modes.
Tools for measuring the area of an object and distance between two points are provided. Moreover, users can calculate angles and display specific coordinates for individual elements.
Editing
Like in Rhinoceros, there are instruments for modifying the image by scaling, mirroring, cloning and offsetting separate components. You are able to add lines, circles, arcs, squares and other geometrical shapes to the project.
Users can select and delete parts of the drawing. Buttons for inserting text annotations into the page are included as well.
3D models
This utility lets you open three dimensional objects in several popular formats. Standard control elements for rotating, panning and zooming the camera are available. There is an option to automatically generate cross sectional images.
