LSX MPEG Encoder is a Windows application for converting various types of video clips to the standard MPEG format. Resulting files are compatible with almost any hardware player. Please note that LSX MPEG Encoder is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.
How it works
The first step is to import the video into the program by clicking the Browse button. There is support for the AVI, WMV, MOV and MP4 input formats. A checkbox for including the audio track into the resulting clip is provided. Moreover, it is possible to create a Video CD project and burn it to an optical disc with the help of Max Movie Maker or another similar app.
You can adjust the amount of frames to encode, change MPEG video data rate and tune other advanced encoding settings. Supported output formats are MPEG 1 and MPEG 2.
This software offers users instruments for adding subtitles to videos. Flexible font size, style and color parameters are available.
There is a batch mode for processing multiple files simultaneously. This functionality is helpful for speeding up the work and automating the conversion.
