PCB Creator is a lightweight program for Windows designed to help you create PCB layouts and schematic designs. The graphical interface may seem a bit complicated at first glance due to the fact that it holds a considerable number of dedicated parameters.
Overview
After launching the utility, you can create a new schematic or PCB design, and modify its components. It is possible to create a new project from scratch or import data from Gerber files, or other compatible formats, namely SES, ASC, and DXF.
The available components are organized into various categories, such diodes, relays, switches, sockets, etc. You can select the items you need and drag and drop them directly into the working environment. There is also an option to check designs for errors and view them in a separate pane.
Build schematics
When it comes to project management capabilities, you can zoom in or out, interact with multiple layers, add shapes, and embed text messages. There are functions for printing the generated designs and performing basic editing operations.
The tool allows you to lock certain components to make sure that they cannot be moved, modified, or deleted by accident. You can also set up the color parameters, insert images in JPG, BMP, ICO, and EMF formats. If you would like to preview 2D and 3D CAD models, you may try an app called eDrawings Viewer.
