Pepakura Viewer is a Windows utility for opening 3D models of complex paper folding projects. It is a companion app for Pepakura Designer and fully compatible with the PDO file format.
Main capabilities
With the help of this software users can view and print foldable patterns for 3D paper models. The main window contains the preview section and a building schematic. Places for glue application are marked separately.
It is possible to rotate the object to evaluate it from all sides. You are able to zoom in and out to identify small defects.
The interface is fully customizable. Users can change the color of mountain and valley edges as well as personalize the arrows and background tone. Printing options such as line thickness and transparency are included as well.
About foldable patterns
These images are intended to be printed and constructed manually. Pepakura Designer allows you to draw custom folding lines and specify areas for the glue.
Finished templates can be tested in a virtual environment before printing. This function is helpful for detecting issues with the model.
