Subshift is a lightweight and simple Windows program designed for converting subtitles of numerous formats. It is possible to transcode texts to srt and ssa files.
Conversion
After installation a small tab appears where users can drag and drop subtitles for conversion. The process of changing formats is completed within seconds taking account the minimal size of these files. It is possible to select desired directories to export converted files, just like in Easy Subtitle Converter.
The utility supports multiple input formats such as srt, vtt, ass, ssa, sub, sbv and ttm. You can transform them to srt and ssa, popular for playing or editing media files. In other words, it is possible to display texts in various languages to watch foreign movies, learn tutorials, create clips with captions and many more.
Limits
There is an option to convert multiple files simultaneously. This method saves a lot of time if you are working with texts and need to quickly switch between formats. Subshift allows you to set a number of concurred tasks in the settings for ease of usage.
However, it is worth noting that batch processing is not included in a free version of the application. To upgrade the converter, you need to complete a one time payment with your bank card.
