VeZA Route planner Traveller is a Windows application for travel planning. It is possible to estimate the overall driving time and fuel cost as well as optimize the itinerary to better fit the requirements.
How it works
After starting the program you are instructed to specify the points of origin and destination. Supported modes of transportation include car, bike, public transport and walking. Additionally, there is an option to choose the type of road, add toll booths, traffic and other factors that may affect the travel.
A map with the optimal route and detailed information about each segment of the journey will be generated automatically. Users can share the results with other people via email.
Please note that VeZA Route planner Traveller is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available. There are other utilities for trip planning such as Magellan Content Manager.
Comparison
Instruments for exploring different options and alternatives for the trip are provided. You are able to compare different routes based on various criteria like distance, time, cost, CO2 emissions and scenic value. Moreover, it is possible to modify the project by adding or removing waypoints and changing the order of stops. The map is updated automatically according to the new itinerary.
