Connection process
The first step is to create an account on the official website and select the required subscription plan. After that users can download the app and enter their personal credentials to access main functionality.
Similar to Mullvad VPN, all incoming and outgoing network traffic is automatically rerouted via a secure remote server to mask personal online activity. It is possible to open websites blocked in your country.
Preferences
The Settings menu allows users to change the default interface theme and tray icon style. Moreover, there are tools for switching between the OpenVPN and WireGuard connection protocols.
A checkbox for enabling the kill switch is available. You can turn on the PIA MACE module to automatically block advertisements and external attack attempts as well.
